All products, if possible, are shipped in standardized EcoBox or UniBag packaging. We have eliminated unnecessarily lacquered, colourful packaging and limited the amount of plastic bags and films to the necessary minimum. The overprints on the cartons are made with ecological ink, and universal product boxes are made of biodegradable, brown cardboard. The whole thing is always crowned with a simple and pleasing to the eye label, which clearly shows the appearance of the packaged product and its most important parameters. The Akyga brand trademark appeared for the first time in 2004 during the assembly production of LCD monitors in cooperation with a Korean partner. The monitors were characterized by good parameters and received positive grades, but the series produced were short and Akyga monitors did not settle down well on the European market. Parallel to them, Akyga computer accessories appeared on the market, such as keyboards, mice, card readers and hard disk cases.

Akyga began to dynamically expand its product offer since 2007. DDR-2 memory modules were introduced to the market, initially with 256 MB and 512 MB capacities. An important event was the appearance in the portfolio of ATX power supplies, which very quickly established an exceptionally strong market position in the segment of basic class computer power supplies.

Three years later, in 2010, Akyga first proposed a computer case product group. The innovative, modern look combined with full functionality, while maintaining the diversity of models – has become the keynote of a carefully controlled production process. Computer cases have been a great success on the European market, which has resulted in the expansion of the company’s permanent offer, including Midi ATX, Gamer ATX and Mini ITX models.

The dynamic development of the company gained even greater pace when, just one year after the success of the enclosures, Akyga launched a series of ATX power supplies – both basic and more advanced. Power supplies of each series (Basic, Pro and Ultimate) fully met the requirements of a wide range of PC devices. In subsequent years, other product groups were added to the offer, such as AV cables, USB cables, mains power cables, as well as surge protectors. The offer of ATX / ITX solutions was systematically supplemented, which resulted in a further increase in the position of the Akyga brand on European markets.

The direction of development resulted in the setting of a product mission, largely based on the provision of professional solutions in the field of power supply for consumer and computer electronics. The adopted mission additionally gained in importance after the appearance in the offer in 2013 of a wide range of power adapters for notebooks, tablets and other mobile devices. In parallel, the existing portfolio has been constantly expanded, including for a list of ATX / ITX accessories and USB adapters. At the beginning of 2015, a new product group of uninterruptible power supplies UPS, as well as the first models of power banks appeared in the offer.
